This is it! As David Tennant departs and Matt Smith comes on board, the brand new logo for Dr. Who has been revealed in all it’s…Tardisness. New exec producer Stephen Moffats says “The 11th logo for the 11th Doctor - those grand old words, Doctor Who, suddenly looking newer than ever. And look at that, something really new - an insignia. DW in TARDIS form! I apologize to school notebooks everywhere because in 2010 that’s what they’re going to be wearing.”
That and The Cabonauts logo! 
No! That logo looks god awful! Sorry, but Stephen Moffat should be made to go away and direct a second series of Jekyll before he thinks about playing with Dr Who any more. Still reckon Matt Smith could be the best Doctor yet. Although would quite like to see Robert Picardo in the role…
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was the Sylvester McCoy logo - only not as hamfistedly cartoonish. Having said that, almost anything is better than the one they had. I guess I’ll reserve judgement until I see how it plays out in the credit sequence.
